WHAT would you most like to see happening in Komani or in your town in 2018, The Rep asked in a poll over the festive period – and it seems like more employment was top of the list.

A total of 55 people voted in the poll with 29% of voters listing more jobs as the top priority, followed by improved local governance with 24%.
The third priority was a cleaner environment (20%) with less crime and an investment in improved infrastructure each gaining 7% of the vote.
A total 5% of respondents voted for roads without potholes and 4% for both an increased focus on improving the living conditions of people in informal settlements and for economic development. Look out for our next poll coming up shortly.
