THE police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with the murder of an 85-year-old Dutywa woman last Thursday.
The woman died after she was attacked by a man wearing a balaclava in Cacadu village.
Police spokesman Captain Jackson Manatha said information received from members of the public assisted in police tracing the whereabouts of the suspects.
He was arrested in a tavern shortly afterwards and will appear in the Dutywa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
