THREE women have been arrested in Burgersdorp on charges of drug trafficking and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
Police spokesman Warrant Officer Moitheri Bojabotseha said a police team comprising various units including crime intelligence, K9 and crime prevention arrested the women, aged between 24 and 27, yesterday.
A 9mm pistol was seized as were Mandrax tablets valued at R19 240 and dagga valued at R480.
All three will appear in the Burgersdorp Magistrate’s Court soon.
