KOMANI’s Silulo Ulutho Technologies Luvuyo Rani was awarded a certificate by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship for making an impact on society at the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland recently.
The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship provides platforms on regional and global level to highlight and advance leading models of sustainable social innovation.
The organisation identifies a select community of social entrepreneurs and engages them in shaping global, regional and industry agendas that improve the state of the world in close collaboration with the other stakeholders of the World Economic Forum.
Rani said the certificate was awarded to entrepreneurs who had profitable business and made a positive influence in developing community members.
“As Silulo Ulutho Technologies we bring access to skills, we offer training and business opportunities to the people. We do something that the government does not often succeed in doing by bringing these services closer to the community.”
Rani said he was grateful as this was every businessman grandest dream to be able to be part of the global network.
“This is the biggest business networking session where the world’s elite people meet. This means a lot to me. It means I have free membership and I will be attending every Economic Forum Meeting.”
He said there were 250 members from around the world who were part of the social entrepreneurs.
“All this was made possible through my efforts of working hard and impacting on people’s lives.”
