THE South African government is busy planning for National Water Week from March 18 to 24 with a clarion call on all to conserve, save and plan for accessibility of safe water for all.
This year’s motto is “Access to safe water by 2030 – possible through nature.”
According to the department of water and sanitation, the annual observance of World Water Week “focuses its attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. Additionally it also creates
an opportunity to learn more about water related issues and to also take action to make a difference. ”
