Due to heavy rains in the past few weeks most dams in Chris Hani District Municipality shows a significant improvement. According to the report that was released by the Department of Water Affairs and Sanitation this week the dam water levels were:
Machubeni dam: 100.0%
Xonxa dam: 102.0%
Waterdown dam: 77.8%
Tsojana dam: 100%
