Local South African track and field athlete Luvo Manyonga hosted a sports tournament for the youth at Mhlanga Village Sports Grounds in Cacadu recently.
Mayonga said, “I have always wanted to invest my time in local communities for quite some time. We finally made this happen and the appreciation from the youth was overwhelming.There is still so much that can be done over the next few years and this excites me.”
He said he made a personal investment in the tournament and wanted to challenge all businessman of the area to get involved.
Manyonga said the event was now an annual event and that those who were interested should contact his agency for more information.
The event was held in partnership with Mhlanga Development Forum.
