A CACADU man was taken into custody following the find of dagga ‘bompies’ in the town yesterday.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the 27-year-old suspect was arrested during a protest march at Pumlani High School.
Following the march, police conducted a stop and search operation and seized the dagga and knives.
The suspect will appear in the Lady Frere Magistrate’s Court soon.
