LEVELS at dams across the Eastern Cape are currently at an average 67.9%.
According to the statement released by the department of Water and Sanitation, dams in the Nelson Mandela Bay area are below 35% this week, compared to 38.2% last year.
The Algoa Water Supply System also includes the Loerie Dam which is at 93.5%, while the Kouga Dam is at 8.6% and the Impofu Dam at 33.6% this week. The Amathole Water Supply System dams are at 91.7 % capacity, compared to last year’s 69.6%.
