WATCH: UNOGWAJA CHALLENGE: The Unogwaja challenge saw the 2018 team raising close to R500 000 by the time they arrived in Komani where they were afforded a place to sleep and supper for the night.

Queen’s College Boy’s High School teacher Donne Hartley had a chance to sit with the team which Hartley said comprised of interesting and diverse people from all over the world with one aspiration – to raise money for education.

“As a teacher this was very special. They were very friendly people and it was truly a huge inspiration. It would be a dream for me to participate in the Unogwaja challenge and I would consider doing it, but I am not sure about running the Comrades afterwards!”
