Police continue to maintain presence in Dordrecht, Cacadu, Komani

THE police are continuing to monitor service-delivery related protests in the areas of the Emalahleni and Enoch Mgijima Local Municipalities.

Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni confirmed today that damage was done to the Emalahleni municipal offices in Cacadu following a fire last night. No arrests had been made as yet.

Businesses in Cacadu remained closed for the second consecutive week while the situation in nearby Dordrecht seemed to have returned to normal.
