FORE: At the recent African Junior Open golf tourney hosted by Golf RSA at the Fish River Resort were, from left, Gerald Breetzke, Celia Breetzke, Hazel de Jongh, Algoa FM presenter Mio Khondleka, Gabriel de Jongh, Joshua de Jongh and Tim de Jongh. Gabriel had a great first and second round but did not fare as well in the second round. He ended joint third out of his Border Junior fellow golfers which has placed him in line for the Border Junior U17 side to play in the Junior tourney in George in September. Playing in the African Junior Open has also placed him in the 2018 SAGA Junior U19 rankings. He will however only officially qualify after playing in another coastal tourney and two inland tourneys. Gabriel is a pupil at Queen’s College Picture: SUPPLIED
