SA weather forecaster Deon van der Mescht of Port Elizabeth has indicated that Komani could expect between 15 and 20 millilitres of rain by midnight and a little light rain thereafter until sunrise.
“There will be a gap for the rest of the day on Friday and two millilitres of light rain will be expected on Saturday. This is a cut- off low weather system which is bringing rain into the country which means it is neither summer nor winter rainfall but a disturbance in the airflow. If the cut-off low is intense it can lead to heavy rain and floods.”
Today’s maximum temperature is 12 degrees.
