Today lights are on in Cathcart Road, Ebden Street, parts of Dugmore, Prince Alfred Street and Komani Road. The high mast lights are also on in Mlungisi.
The street lights were switched off in the evening for the past two days in Komani Road, yet they were shining this morning.
It is the second time this week that the street lights are on during the day with the Ebden Street lights on Wednesday afternoon.
Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality spokesperson Fundile Feketshane said he will check with the technical service department.
