The Xonxa Dam near Cacadu, from which a pipeline is due to become operational to Komani soon, is currently 98% full. At the same time last year, the dam was 96% full.
The Waterdown Dam which is currently supplying the Komani area and surrounds is at 83% showing a remarkable recovery and up from 63% at the same time last year.
Other dam levels in the area are: Wriggleswade is at 98% up from 69 in 2017, Kommandodrift dam near Tarka 23% down from 37% and the Gubu dam 96% up from 90% at the same time last year.
The Bonkolo dam level is still too low to allow a measurement.
