All access and exit roads to Komani are currently open, with some road blockades in nearby Stutterheim and in King William’s Town.
The road between Ezibeleni and Komani is also open and traffic is moving freely in and out of town at present.
Police have reported that it is monitoring a motorcade of taxis along the N6 heading towards the Ezibeleni turn-off circle.
