Tragedy: Police have opened an inquest docket after four kids were striked by lightning earlier today.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said it was alleged that the kids were coming from Sabata Dalindyebo and were on their way home.
“When the lightning struck them, two girls between 12 and 15 died on the scene. Two boys between 11 and 12 are fighting for their lives in Frontier Hospital,” Mdleleni said.
