CHDM provided 22 Jojo tanks as intervention to bring relief to the water scarce area at Xolobe Village on Wedneday.
The village was home to the late Mama Albertina Sisulu.CHDM spokesperson Thobela Mqamelo said the municipality’s service delivery initiative commemorated Sisulu who would have turned 100 on Sunday.
A water tanker which will service the Jojo tanks on a temporary basis was also provided.”Drilling processes are taking place in the area with the purpose of providing reliable underground water in the area.”
