Arrests: According to police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni, Queenstown Public Order Policiing (Pops) and Sterkstroom members did not sleep last night during a search for suspects who allegedly burnt the Sterkstroom Municipal offices and barricaded roads.
“Four suspects were arrested. They are facing charges of public violence, arson and malicious damage to property. They will appear before the Sterkstroom Magistrate’s court soon and police are continuing to monitor the situation.”
