The Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM) has indicated that Eskom is busy finishing up the energizing of the Xonxa Dam pipeline system and that low voltage testing has been done.
CHDM spokesman Thobeka Mqamelo said a meeting was held with Eskom on Tuesday to finalise arrangements.
