Police on manhunt for two alleged rapists

POLICE VEHICLE

Police are looking for two suspects that allegedly raped a 14 year-old girl in Ilinge on Saturday.

Police spokeswoman captain Namhla Mdleleni said the victim was on her way from her grandmother’s house to Machibini when the incident happened.

“She was offered a lift by two unidentified men who took her to an unknown household where they allegedly raped her. The two suspects fled the scene leaving the victim.”

Mdleleni said the girl managed to return home and confirmed that a case of rape had been opened and no arrests have been made. She urged anyone with information to contact the nearest police ​station Picture: SUPPLIED
