Teen judoka keeps dream alive

A Komani teenager is determined to rise above any obstacle to realise her dream of becoming a top judoka.

Anje Strydom, 16, a grade10 pupil at Girls’ High School, is a trainer at Kazok Judo, a judo club in Komani.

“To understand more about the why, who and how of Kazok Judo, one has to look back at Anje’s career,” says the club’s spokesperson, Vuyokazi Ngamlana.

Anje has been doing Judo since 2010.
