Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) employees and councillors did not get their salaries today due to the municipality allegedly not having enough revenue in its bank account.
Mobile communications company Vodacom also threatened to block services on councillors’ contract phones due to non-payment by the EMLM.
