Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality spokesperson Lonwabo Kowa has indicated that residents will soon receive their municipal accounts on their mobile or via email.
Kowa said this followed complaints about locals not receiving their accounts regularly.
“We are trying to make sure that everyone gets their account information monthly. It is good for the municipality and our communities to move with the times and be able to meet customer needs,” he said.
Community members are required to download, complete and send a data verification update form on the municipal website www.enochmgijima.org.za
