Cuepros clinch the QTEL trophy

On Sunday Komani Cuepros and Snipers played the first final of the pool QTEL trophy at the Boundary Pub and Grub.

The rotating cup tournament is played quarterly between the two Komani teams Snipers and Cuepros joined by Top Spin from Tarkastad and East London’s Hustlers.

The two visiting teams didn’t make the event living Snipers and Cuepros to square-off in the first final.

The final had 21 games played between the two teams and Cuepros bagged it with 11 wins.

Captain of Snipersn, Andre Botha, said they were happy about the win but were looking to practice harder for the next leg.

“The guys are really and excited and hyped about the result. The practice really paid off. We are now looking forward to the next leg in,” said Botha.

The next leg will be in East London
