Health minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, today confirmed that South Africa has 52 new Covid-19 cases, increasing the number from 150 to 202.
Mkhize made the announcement during a media briefing in the Free State earlier today.
The minister had gone to check on the state of readiness of the province after it recorded its first seven new cases.
