The Komani pageant, Miss Schools Eastern Cape has now been put on hold due to the covid-19 outbreak.
Organizing committee member, Prince Whyte, said they are “deeply hurt and disappointed” about the halting of the event.
“We have to postpone and wait until further notice. The Covid-19 outbreak has broken our hearts and those of our beautiful contestants who had to work hard preparing for the event. We as management could not do any better but to postpone the event. We are very sorry,” said Whyte.
The event was scheduled for March 27 at the Mzingisi Skweyiya Hall in Mlungisi. It is postponed indefinitely.
