Today marks World Tuberculosis (TB) Day and statistics have revealed that an estimated 58 million lives were saved through TB diagnosis and treatment between 2000 and 2018.
The purpose of the day is to educate the public about the impact of the disease around the world. This year’s theme is It’s time to End TB! and people are urged to go for screening.
