The Free State department of health has confirmed that an 86-year-old man from Bloemfontein in the Free State is the third person to die from Covid-19 in SA.
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Monday night that the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has risen to 1,326.
A report by TimesLive indicated that the man’s 81-year-old wife had also been admitted to hospital. The Free State department is expected to meet the deceased’s family on Tuesday.
