Covid-19 new confirmed cases have increased by 43 to 1505 in the country and from 17 to 21 in the Eastern Cape.
Two more deaths were confirmed, both in Kwazulu Natal bringing the total to nine.
People are urged to stay at home and to take the necessary precautions to curb the spread of the virus.
