Sassa distances itself from social media food parcel form

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has distanced itself from a circulating form on social media which claims that online applications for social relief of distress to acquire food parcels can be made.

Sassa says applications can be made through the call centre by contacting 0800 601 011. Alternatively public members can make their request via joint operation centres in their areas.
