Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality has announced that its four trucks have broken down and this would disrupt refuse collection.
In a statement posted on the local authority’s Facebook page, only two trucks are currently servicing the whole of Komani.
“At this stage it is difficult to repair the trucks considering lockdown regulations. We request all households that are able to dump household refuse at the municipal landfill site to do so. There is no fee paid for household refuse. Our staff are still trying to fix the fault. We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause.”
