A high mast light in Mlungisi damaged the roof of one of the houses in the area after it fell to the ground today.
The lengthy and heavy pole of the light fell across a street blocking traffic. Residents indicated the bolts holding the light to the ground had been loose for a while and reported to the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality with no response.
