THE Chris Hani District Municipality has urged residents to contact them to make arrangements so that water accounts can be sent via e-mail.
Spokesman Thobeka Mqamelo, responding to queries from The Rep about residents complaining about not receiving accounts, said statements were being sent via e-mail to people who had provided these contact details.
“The rest are delivered by meter readers as the temporary appointment of foot soldiers to carry out this function, as previously communicated, is yet to be finalised.”
