A SMALL group of Harriers tackled the 24km Lammergeyer trail run in Lady Grey on September 24. Liezl Heideman was the first Harrier home in a time of 3hr 36min. She also clinched the category win for women 35 years and older. Maryka Snyman and Jaco Annandale completed the run in 4:52:00. On October 1 a group of Harriers participated in the Bonthoek trail run 25km and 10km events. Stephan Els was the first Harrier home in the 25km event, and third overall in a time of 1:55:00, followed by Henk Lombard 1:56:00, Liezl Heideman 2:03:00, Neville Warmberg 2:11:00 , Elisma Olivier and Solette Lombard 2:38:00. In the 10km event the first Harrier home was Janneke du Preez in 0:55:00 and Janice McKerry in 0:57:00. |
