Stutt parkrun fun

STUTTERHEIM – The annual Stutterheim High School/Rance Timber Enduro mountain cycle race takes place on March 25 at 8am starting at Stutterheim High School. There will be the following categories on that day – 65km and 45km challenges, 30km and 20km rides, a 10km fun ride and a 5km fun walk.
Registration forms are available on the following web site: and at the school, Cycle HQ, Sportsman’s Warehouse and EL Cycles. Entry fees are R120 for the 65km and 45km challenges, R100 for the 20km and 30km rides, R50 for the 10km fun ride and R10 for the 5km fun walk. THEcountry club is getting back into action after the Christmas holidays. The cricketers play their first away game tomorrow and their first home game against Healdtown on February 2.
The Stutterheim Open A division golf championship takes place on Sunday over 36 holes. The B and C divisions take place over 27 holes on Sunday, February 5. Also in February the golf AGM will take place on Wednesday, February 22. On Sunday, February 19 golfers will play in the annual Three Jacks and a Jill competition.
parkrun: 68 athletes completed Event #117 on January 21 with visitors from Kidd’s Beach, King William’s Town and Cape Town. Sarah Becker, Lilly-Ann Oelofse and Jordan Iveson received their certificates for having completed 10 parkruns. Tomorrow Shiree Heidtmann will complete her 100th parkrun and Sylvia Noach and Unathi Stoto their 50th.
