A BURST water pipe has left Whittlesea without water.
Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM) spokesman Thobeka Mqamelo said this afternoon that as a replacement pipe was not available in Komani, it was being brought in from East London.
“Water carting is in place feeding into tanks,” she said, adding that residents who live closer to the reservoir could access water directly.
An additional water truck to service the area was also on its way.
