Collegians (OC) netball side walked away with a satisfying win against their counterparts, Rangers SC, on Saturday.
The latter team, which is based in Adelaide, tried to keep up in the fast-paced 20 minute match, but was found wanting against the Komani side.
OC captain Qamani Ngxatu said it was their first match against the Rangers SC with their practise time limited due to personal commitments.
Rangers captain Lee-Andrea Dail said her team had accepted the defeat but would not be repeating the same careless mistakes.
“We lacked in defence but we are going to make sure we polish up here and there,” Ngxatu said, thanking the team for “bringing their A-game” to the match.

Collegians coach Nicolene van Schalkwyk, said the game served as preparation for the upcoming league, which starts on April 1.
