A CRADOCK man is facing a hefty 30 years in prison following his conviction on two counts of robbery.
Sinothando Ndwandwa was convicted in the Cradock regional court and sentenced to 15 years for robbing a child who was aged seven at the time.
He was sentenced to a further 15 years for robbing another person of a cellphone. The victim was stabbed during the attack. The attack occurred while Ndwandwa was out on bail for robbery with aggravating circumstances.
The investigating officer was Detective Constable Siyabonga Ntsimango.
