POLICE and emergency services are currently on the scene of a collision between a bus and a bakkie on the N6 at Hobbs Hill between Cathcart and Komani.
A motorist who stopped at the scene said police were on the scene shortly after the crash which is believed to have occurred at about 5.30am.
While the motorist confirmed that people had died, it could not be determined how many deaths had been recorded with the accident happening at about 5.30am today.
Police are busy monitoring the traffic which has not been interrupted, but please take care when travelling along the route.
The Rep is currently speaking to the police to try and get further information.
