THE South Africa Social Security Agency (SASSA) will host an Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme (ICROP) at Thornhill near Tarkastad tomorrow.
The event will start at 10.30am at the Thornhill community hall. 
In a press statement, SASSA indicated that ICROP was a ministerial service delivery programme aimed at intensifying the fight against poverty.
“It is in line with the government priority to drastically reduce poverty via the provision of social assistance to the most needy communities.”
ICROP was geared at bringing all government services under one roof and closer to people in rural communities.
Several government departments and entities including Home Affairs, Health, Social Development,Education, SAPS, Municipalities,Road Accident Fund, Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), National Developnent Agency (NDA), Chris Hani Development Agency, district and local municipalities and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) will be part of the outreach programme.
