POLICE managed to apprehend a suspect during an attempted armed robbery of a cash loans in Komani on Saturday.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said a suspect had entered the business premises and demanded money from the cashier.
Police responded swiftly to a call and managed to arrest the 36-year-old suspect.
A 9mm pistol and ammunition were seized.
The suspect will appear before the magistrate’s court in Komani on Monday.
Cluster commander Major General Tembisile Patekile commended the members for their swift response.
