Over 7 000 people joined the fun at the annual Tamboekie Festival at the Border Agricultural Showgrounds in Komani over the weekend.
Charlaine Greyvenstein, speaking on behalf of the organisers of the event, the Border Agricultural Society, said 7 434 people had passed through the gates of which 5 168 were children and 2 266 were adults.
She said stall holders were slightly down on sales from last year but had indicated that they were happy with their sales.
