Police find stolen Komani car in Jamestown

Members of the Jamestown police have recovered a vehicle, believed to have been stolen in Komani on October 17, in Jamestown.


Police spokesman Warrant Officer Moitheri Bojabotseha said police, acting on information about a suspicious-looking vehicle in town, checked on the registration number and found it had been reported stolen in Komani.

A 41-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and will appear in the Jamestown magistrate’s court tomorrow.

Bojabotseha said further investigation had revealed that the driver was on his way to Boksburg in Gauteng.
