Sada beats WSU in an intense match

The Sada Cricket Club hosted the Walter Sisulu University (WSU) during the Internal Cricket League last Saturday. Sada won the toss and elected to bat first. They were bowled out for only 169 runs with Thabo Diniso top-scoring with 34 runs while Thembinkosi Trom assisted with 25 runs.

Former Border Cricket fast bowler, now playing for WSU Cricket Club, Lavisa Nomkhonwana, took two wickets surrendering 36 runs in the process. WSU were bowled out for 63 runs in the 11thover, with Sada’s fast bowler, Sibongiseni Stemela, taking four wickets in five overs, and only yielding 13 runs.

Sada Cricket Club won the 50 over match by 106 runs, and moved to second on the log, while based team, Siseko Dalamba Cricket Club, still in first place. WSU dropped down to third place after this loss.

Yesterday , Bangladesh XI took on Masakhane Cricket Club in Dumpy Adams Sport Complex; and Today, Northern Region Warriors will travel to Sada where they will face Sada Cricket Club. Still on today, Dongwe Cricket Club will host the dominating, Siseko Dalamba Cricket Club. All games will start at 10am.​
