THE South African National Blood Services have called on South Africans to be “the agent of change that the President has urged South Africans to be and become a blood donor” on Wednesday, which also marks Human Rights Day.
The SANBS is implementing a mass blood drive on said day to recruit new type O donors.
The #NewBlood campaign is targeting the collection of 4 500 donations on the day.
We are calling on anyone who has never donated or has not donated in over a year, to heed the President’s plea and lend a hand.

In Komani, the mass blood drive will be hosted at The Mall outside Pick ‘n Pay from 9am to 4pm.
