PSL will help police find Moses Mabhida hooligans

The Premier Soccer League will work closely with law enforcement to ensure that those responsible for Saturday’s hooliganism are subjected to judicial processes.

The perpetrators must be held responsible‚ PSL chairman Irvin Khoza told a news conference in Johannesburg on Monday‚ commenting on the violence that took place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday night during the fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Free State Stars.

He was reinforcing a statement issued by the PSL at the weekend‚ which stated: “Hooliganism and thuggery of this nature has no place in football and acts of violence perpetrated by individuals are witnessed . . . cannot be tolerated.”
