The following roads have been closed as a result of protest action in the Komani area:
The Ezibeleni four-way stop (which has since been partially reopened), the Ilinge road, the Whittlesea road and the road to KwaKomani Comprehensive School in Mlungisi. Tyres are also burning in several streets in Mlungisi.
The Border Kei Chamber of Business, via local chairwoman Adre Bartis, has sent out a warning to people travelling in the area to take care.
