With the provincial cabinet set to decide on whether the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) should be placed under provincial administration on August 1, The Rep recently set up a poll on our website to allow our readers to express their opinions in this regard.
This is what you said:
Four respondents (10%) of the 40 votes tallied said provincial administration would not make a difference and that we needed to sort out our own affairs on the home front.
Eight respondents (20%) said they were not sure that it would help but that it was worth a try.
The majority of 28 respondents (70%) said yes it would help save the municipality and assist in service delivery.
