The Komani CBD cable fault has been located and work has started on fixing it, Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality spokesman Gcobani Msindwana has indicated.
Giving an update on the outage on the outage which has been ongoing since yesterday, Msindwana said the fault had been on a cable between the Town Hall and a nearby butchery.
There is at present no indication as to when the power will be restored.
